Olive Sev Puri
SEV PURI RECIPE:
An all-time favourite for all the chaat enthusiasts, our chatpata olives add another layer of flavour to the already delicious sev puri.
What’s more this tasty treat can be easily assembled using the following ingredients.
6-7 tablespoons Nylon Sev
Your preferred flavour of Flavure Snack-on-the-go olives.
1/3 cup boiled Potato, small cubes
¼ cup Tomato, deseeded and finely chopped
¼ cup Onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons Coriander leaves, finely chopped
2-3 tablespoons roasted Peanut
12 teaspoons Sweet Tamarind Chutney
6 teaspoons Red Chutney or Chilli Garlic Chutney
6 teaspoons Green Chutney or Coriander Mint Chutney
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
½ teaspoon Chaat Masala to sprinkle
¼ teaspoon roasted Cumin powder to sprinkle
2 pinches of black Salt
STUFFED PARATHA RECIPE:
Add a twist to the classic stuffed paratha with our deliciously flavoured olives.
Here’s the recipe!
For the dough:
½ cup of whole wheat flour.
1 tsp oil.
Salt to taste.
For the Olive Stuffing
3 pouches of your favourite Flavure pitted olives
2 tsp oil
½ cup cumin seeds, ½ cup finely chopped onions,
½ cup finely chopped green chilies,
¼ cup finely chopped coriander
Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using approximately ½ cup of water.
Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
When the cumin seeds crackle, add the onions and green chilies and sauté on a medium flame for 30 sec.
Add the sliced olives and salt and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add 4 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Add the coriander and mix well.
Now roll out a portion of the dough into a circle and place one unit of the olive stepping inside.
Bring together all sides and roll out again.
Heat a non-stick girdle and cook on a medium flame using a little bit of ghee will brown.
Serve hot with some sliced olives on top.
